Content
The lecture treats topics from set-theoretical and algebraic topology which are important for the applications. The planned content includes paracompact spaces, metrization theorems (Nagata-Smirnov), function spaces, Arzela-Ascoli Theorem, Stone-Cech Compactification, the fundamental group and universal convering spaces.
Prerequisites
Analysis I, Analysis II. Topology I is recommended.

Regular and successful participation in exercise groups; 50% of the achievable points from the exercise sheets; Passing of an oral exam

Tutorials service

Exercise groups
The exercises will be held by Sebastian Langendörfer. The exercise group will take place on thurdays, 12 o'clock in seminar room 1. As announced in the lecture, the exercise group will exceptionally take place on Wednesday, 9th of May in seminar room 1 due to a holiday.
