    • Complete name
    • Matriculation number
    • Date of birth
  • The lectures will take place as video conferences via Zoom. You will get an e-mail with a link to the first class in time.
  • Below on this page you can find the first two chapters of the lecture notes. In the first chapter we collected some results about measure theory, we want to use and cite in the lecture whenever we need them.

Content
The course gives an introduction to the theory of Hardy spaces on the unit disc. Topics include the boundary behaviour of functions in Hardy spaces, characterizations of their zero sets, Blaschke products, inner-outer factorizations and duality theory. As tools we use results from complex function theory and measure theory.
Pre­re­quisites
Complex analysis I, prior knowledge of functional analysis is helpful, but not required

Exams

Admission requirementsand type of the exam
To be allowed to do the exam at the end of the semester, you need 50 % of the points achievable in the homework assignments. There will be an oral exam.
Examination dates
Please contact Prof. Dr. Jörg Eschmeier at the end of the term for an examination date.
Registration for the exam
Until one week before the corresponding exam via LSF/HISPOS. In case of problems please contact Prof. Dr. Jörg Eschmeier.

Exercises

Tutorial groups
There will be a weekly tutorial in form of a video conference. The tutor will present solutions of the homework and you have the chance to discuss about problems concerning the exercise-sheets and the lecture.

Every week there will be a new exercise sheet. You may submit the solutions for the exercise sheets in groups up to three participants, belonging to the same tutorial group. Because of the corona pandemic please do not meet in person. Solutions of the homework problems have to be submitted via E-Mail one week after the exercise sheet has been uploaded on the homepage. You can upload your solutions of the exercise sheets on CMS.
