3rd Annual Meeting SFB-TRR 195

The third annual meeting of the SFB-TRR 195 will take place

September 9-13, 2019

in Saarbrücken. The meeting starts on Monday at 2 pm and ends on Friday after lunch.

Poster session

In addition to the talks, there will be a session for a poster presentation this year. PhD students are expected to present their work by contributing to the poster session.

Location

The conference will take place at the Department of Mathematics, University of Saarland. All talks will take place in the Hörsaal III in the building E2.5. The coffee breaks are in the room 103 in the building E2.4.

Map of the campus

The best way to reach the campus from Saarbrücken is by public transport. From the bus stop Universität Mensa it is a short walk downhill to the buildings E2.4 and E2.5. You can use the buses
-> 102 and 124 from the central station,
-> 101, 102 and 109 from the bus stop Rathaus in the city centre,
-> 101, 102, 109 and 124 from the bus stop Haus der Zukunft in the city centre.

If you arrive by car, preferably use the car park P3 (Uni Ost) on the campus. We provide guest cards at the registration on Monday.

Afternoon Activity

If you want to go together, we meet at 12:50 at lecture Hall III. Then we take the bus at 13:13.

If you prefer to go on your own, take the tram 1 in direction to Heusweiler Markt exit at Heinrichshaus. Then it is a short walk to the Naturfreundehaus.

Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will take place in the restaurant Kunstwerk Saarbrücken, Scheidter Str. 1 starting at 18:00. If you like to participate, please sign in at the registration on Monday. To get there, take a bus from the university to the city center and exit at the stop 'An der Trift'. From there it is a short walk to the restaurant.
