  • Abelian varieties: Shimura varieties, Hilbert modular surfaces, theta functions
  • Fuchsian groups: triangle groups, quadrilateral groups, arithmetic Fuchsian groups
  • Belyi-Grothendieck theory: dessins d'enfants, Beauville surfaces
