Friday 10:00 - 12:00 in Günter-Hotz-Hörsaal, building E2 2
This course is concerned with various topics of linear algebra that are of interest for computer scientists. Among other topics this course will introduce vector spaces, solving methods for linear equation systems, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, quadratic forms, functional analytic generalizations and fourier series.
This course, which is the second part of the "Mathematics for Computer Scientists" lecture series, is intended for students in computer science, bioinformatics, business informatics and media informatics. Prerequisites for this course are knowledge of the course "Mathematics for Computer Scientists I".
